History of Ruchi Infrastructure Ltd.

Ruchi Infrastructure and Finance limited [RIFLs] was originally promoted by Mr.S.S. Gupta, Mr.Mahesh Kumar & their associates & was incorporated as a Limited Comp. on August28, 1984 & obtained the Certificate of Commencement of Business on October 5, 1984 under the name of Columbia Leasing and Finance Limited. During 1990 the Ruchi Group acquired the controlling interest in the Comp. from its erstwhile promoters. The name of Comp. was changed to Ruchi Infrastructure and Finance Limited to reflect the new areas of diversification which the Comp. now propose to venture into, & the same has been approved by Addl. Registrar of Companies vide its letter dated the 2nd September, 1994 as per the provisions of Sec 21 of the Companies Act, 1956 read with the Government of India, Department of Comp. Affairs, Notification no. G.S.R. 507E dtd. 24th June, 1985. The Comp. had its' shares listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange in the year 1985.

2003

-Mr. Ashok Khandelwal Vice President & Comp. Secretary has resigned from the Comp. w.e.f. July 31, 2003. He was also designated as compliance officer of company.

Under the flag of Ruchi Group the Comp. subsequently diversified its operations to include trading and exports of soya products, oil seeds & de-oiled cakes and additionally, the Comp. has also set up processing facilities in soaps, detergents & steel strips.

2007 -Ruchi Infrastructure Ltd has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding [MoUs] with State Government of Madhya Pradesh for rural aggregation & infrastructure project at multi locations within the State of Madhya Pradesh.

2008

- Ruchi Infrastructure limited has appointed Mr. N. Murugan as an additional Director.

2009

- Ruchi Infrastructure Ltd has approved the appointment of Shri. Mahendra Prasad Sharma as an Additional Director.
