Sree Jayalakshmi Autospin Limited was originally incorporated as a Private Limited Comp. on 4.3.91 & subsequently was converted into a Public Limited Comp. on 13.04.1994. The main object of Comp. is to carry on business of ginning & spinning of cotton yarn. In the first phase, the Comp. has established an industrial unit engaged in cotton ginning in July 1994. It is located in premises leased from Vijayalakshmi Oil Mills on a monthly lease rentals of Rs. 6,500/. There are no over dues in the payment of lease rentals.
The existing ginning unit is assisted by Karnataka State Financial Corporation to the extent of Rs. 9.86 lakhs. This unit has commenced commercial production from July 1994. Now, the Comp. intends to establish spinning unit as a forward integration.
