Sree Kailas Sugars and Chemicals Ltd.
YEAR EVENTS
1990 - The Comp. was Incorporated on 2nd January. It was promoted by
S.K. Kailas, Mrs. Vasudevi Kailas & Kailas Ravi Shankar of Sree
Kailas Group. The Company object is to manufacture sugar and
allied products.
1992 - The Comp. undertook to set up sugar mill with capacity of
2,500 TCD to manufacture white crystal sugar on a land
admeasuring 120 acres in Peruvancha village, Kallur Mandal,
Khammam District of Andhra Pradesh. The entire plant and
equipment was supplied by Buckau Wolf [Indias] Ltd.
- 70 No. of equity shares of Rs.10 each issued, subscribed & paid
up. 112,00,000 No. of equity shares of Rs.10 each issued at par
of which 49,00,000 shares issued & allotted to promoters,
directors, etc. Of the remaining 63,00,000 shares, 5,60,000
shares were issued to employees on preferential basis [all were
taken ups]. The remaining 57,40,000 shares were offered to the
public in August 1991. Additional 9,45,000 shares were allotted
to retain oversubscription [80,900 shares to employees and
8,64,100 shares to publics]. Another 23,50,000 shares were
allotted to promoters.
