History of T and i Global Ltd.

T and i Global limited [T and i Gs] was originally incorporated as T and i Global Pvt. limited on January 31st, 1991. The Comp. was converted into a public limited Comp. with effect from 4-8-1994. The fresh Certificate of Incorporation was obtained on 8/9/94. The Comp. till now carried on the business of export of tea machinery.

The Comp. is an existing 100% Export Turnover Comp. exporting Tea processing Machinery, since its incorporation in January, 1991. Exports have been made to tea growing countries including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Papua-New Guinea, Mauritius, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi, Iran, Turkey & Australia.

Customers of Comp. include major tea producers of world such as Brooke Bond Kenya Ltd., Unilever Plc. Turkey, James Finley Plc. Bangla Desh, Lonrho Tanzania Ltd., Brooke Bond Tanzania Ltd., African Highlands Produce Co. limited Kenya, Forboes and Walkers Sri Lanka etc.

The Comp. has achieved a turnover of almost Rs.4 crores in 1993-94. Most Tea growing countries are going for modernisation & expansion of their tea production facilities. Sri Lanka & Indonesia are switching over from manufacturing Orthodox tea to CTC Tea. As exporters of CTC machinery this has opened new avenues for T&I Global Ltd.
