History of TPL Plastech Ltd.

The Comp. was incorporated on 30th September, 1992 at Bombay with the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra & was promoted by Tainwala Chemicals & Plastics [Indias] Limited [TCPLs]. The Comp. obtained Certificate for Commencement of Business on 16th October, 1992. Tainwala Polycontainers limited is a new Comp. incorporated for manufacture of 2.5 lacs extrusion blow moulded high molecular, high density Polyethylene containers [HMHDPEs] [220 litres capacitys] per annum.

HMHDPE containers are used for packaging of chemicals, dye stuffs, bulk pharmaceuticals, explosives & petrochemicals. They have several advantages over conventional mild steel drums because of their betteer resistance to chemicals, lesser weight & are more cost effective. These containers also have good potential for packaging of export products. Presently, there are only two units manufacturing HMHDPE containers, Ador & H M Prestige Polycontainers.
