History of Tamilnad Hospital Ltd.

The Comp. was incorporated on May, 7, 1984 as Kody Medical Centre & Laboratories Pvt. limited The name was changed to Kody Medical Centre Pvt Limited. on July 1, 1985. It was converted into a public Limited Comp. on October 31, 1985. On September 10,1986 the present name Tamilnad Hospital Limited, was registered & a fresh certificate of incorporation was obtained. Though the Comp. was incorporated in 1984, work on the project was started only in 1987.

The Comp. will carry on business of design , construction & running of all kinds of hospitals dispensaries, clinics, laboratories & health club.

2000 - The Comp. has suspended its operations since 19th June. According to hospital, a lock-out was declared over differences with the staff union on the non-payment of salary for two months.
