Tecknomin Aqua Exports India Limited was incorporated under the companies act, 1956 on December 18, 1991, as a public limited Comp. & has obtained the certificate for commencement of business on January 1, 1992 from the registrar of companies, Andhra Pradesh at Hyderabad. And the registered office of Comp. is situated at 27-19-55, First floor, Durgaiah street, Governorpet, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.

The Comp. was promoted by Mr. P.M. Rao and Mr. M.B. Subba Rao.

The Comp. is establishing an aquaculture project consisting of hatchery & grow out ponds. The Comp. has acquired lands in Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh for this purpose. Grow out ponds covering 10 hectares [7.8 hectares water spreads] was comnissed as the pilot project. The pilot project constituting 12 ponds [8 semi intensive & 4 extensives] were stocked in August, 1992 with Penaeus Indicus fry & harvested in December, 1992.
