Telephone Cables [TCLs] is a joint sector Comp. promoted by Punjab State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd [PSIDCs] & Mr.H.S. Brar, an entrepreneur in 1983. The Comp. is engaged in the manufacture of Jelly-filled telephone cables [JFTCs] & dry core cables with an Installed capacity of 12.5 Lakh Core kilometers/annum. The Comp. entered the capital market during April 1988.

The project is located at Mohali near Chandigarh. The Comp. entered into a technical collaboration with United Technologies [Essex Divisions], USA for project.
