History of Tirupati Starch and Chemicals Ltd.

The Comp. was incorporated as a Public Limited Comp. on the 9th December 1985 with the Registrar of Companies, M.P. at Gwalior & obtained the Certificate for commencement of Business on the 9th December 1986. The Comp. currently manufactures maize starch powder with an installed capacity of 12500 tonnes per annum. The production facilities are located at Village Sejwaya, District Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. The existing unit has been granted Term Loans by MPAVN [Rupee & Foreign Currencys] MPFC & State Bank of India, besides Equity participation by MPAVN.

The Comp. commenced commercial production in December 1989.

The Comp. was mainly promoted by Dr. Damador Modi, & other six promoter Directors before setting up TSCL.

The new Dextrose Plant has been commissioned and expected to come into commercial production in the last week of August, 1995.
