Tonira Pharma Limited was incorporated as a Private Limited Comp. on August 13, 1992 & was converted into a Public Limited Comp. with effect from February 15, 1994.

The Comp. was incorporated with the object of taking over the running business of M/s.Pharmachem Laboratories. With effect from October 16, 1992, all the assets & liabilities including all its properties, licences, permits, quota & industrial rights, lease, tendency rights, stock-in trade, workshop tools, advances of money of all kinds, book debts, outstanding monies, trade marks, patents, etc., of M/s.Pharmachem Laboratories were transferred & vested in Tonira Pharma Pvt. Ltd.

M/s.Pharmachem Laboratories, a partnership firm manufacturing & dealing in chemicals & pharmaceuticals, was started on September 2, 1987. It started commercial production on January 8, 1968, with a single product Acetamide.

- Tonira Pharma Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of Comp. at its meeting held on October 31, 2008, inter alia, Mr. J L Nagori has been appointed as the Additional Director of Company.
