History of Total Exports Ltd.

Total Exports Limited was originally incorporated on 24th June 1982 as a Private Limited Comp. & later converted into a Public Limited Comp. on 3rd September 1986. The Comp. is presently implementing an export oriented high-tech electronic project to manufacture & duplicate 6 million numbers p.a. of 3.5 inches Micro Floppy Diskettes.

The project was initially taken up by Comp. to manufacture 1.80 million floppy diskettes per annum with an project outlay of Rs. 265.00 lacs. During the implementation due to foreign exchange fluctuation, increase in custom duties & increasing of total installed capacity to 6.00 million duplicating diskettes per annum, the cost of project was revised to Rs.465.00 lacs. The project was reappraised by Bank of India.

The company present promoters consists of Mr. Suresh Kumar, Mrs. Rashmee Seengal & Mrs. Santosh Grover.

The Comp. has entered into an agreement for technical knowhow with Atlantic Magnetics Ltd., Dublin, Ireland.
