Gujarat Overseas Drugs Limited was incorporated on 16th day of September, 1993 as a Public Limited Comp. in the name of Gujarat Overseas Solvex Ltd, in the State of Madhya Pradesh. The Comp. obtained Certificate of Commencement of Business on 21/07/1994. The name of Comp. was changed to Gujarat Overseas Drugs Ltd by passing a Special Resolution. Consequent to this change, a Fresh Certificate of Incorporation was obtained on 28-10-1994. The Comp. proposes to set up a plant to manufacture Bulk Drugs IBUPROFEN, TRIMETHOPRIM and NORFLOXACIN. The Comp. also proposes to manufacture other drug apart from the envisaged product provided the capacity remains unutilised.
