Coromandal Aqua Culture Limited was incorporated on 12th March, 1992 with the Registrar of Companies, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad. The certificate of commencement of business was obtained on 16th March, 1992.

PRESENT BUSINESS

Coromandal Aqua Culture Limited is establishing a 100% export oriented aquaculture project under semi-intensive method consisting of hatchery, growout ponds & a processing plant. The unit is at Kothakodur village in Nellore District. The Comp. has already purchased 55.94 hectares & has started trial production, on a pilot basis, in 5.5 hectares of land in March 1993. The average yield of 2 metric tonnes per hectare of WAS has been achieved. The Comp. has already exported the first harvest from the pilot project through ITC [Export Houses].
