Dhar Ispat Limited is a Comp. incorporated in Madhya Pradesh under the Companies Act, 1956. Initially it was incorporated as a Private Limited Comp. on 18-3-1985 under the Companies Act, 1956 & became a Public Limited Comp. vide section No.43A of Companies Act, 1956 on 1.7.93.

The Comp. had initially set up a unit in the small scale sector with a total capital outlay of Rs.136 lacs with a capacity of 5,000 M.T. per annum for reduction & processing of steel strips in 1987 with the financial assistance of Rs.86 lacs from the state level financial institutions.

Subsequently the Comp. has done equipment balancing as also modernisation of major capital equipments as a result of which its capacity has increased from 5,000 M.T. to approximately 15,000 M.T. per annum on the basis of average product mix.
